Code of Conduct
Connexxo is a company focussed on helping organisations to become more effective via our services as coaches and consultants. The company also delivers training and organises events focussed on learning and on knowledge sharing for everyone involved in coaching, training, mentoring. All Connexxo employees agree with and will adhere to this code of conduct.
We want to create a respectful, safe and inclusive environment for all our clients, business partners, coachees, course or event participants, guests, speakers, helpers, staff and everyone else who is part of all the activities where we are involved. The company does not tolerate harassing or disrespectful behaviour, interactions, messages, or images. We encourage all our employees to help in creating and maintaining a welcoming and safe environment by watching out for others and for each other and showing no tolerance for any disruptive activity. We trust that our employees and partners will always act in appropriate manner in the work environment as well as in public spaces related to company activities.
Harassment includes (but is not limited to):
- intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, or demeaning conduct;
- offensive verbal or written comments related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, age, religion, political views, technology choices;
- inappropriate use of nudity and/or sexual images in public spaces (including presentation slides);
- deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following;
- harassing photography or recording;
- sustained disruption of talks or other events;
- inappropriate physical contact, or unwelcome sexual attention.
Hate Speech Policy
Connexxo stands strongly for inclusion, openness, and acceptance of all people. While we believe in and support freedom of expression, we also believe that we have the right to condemn ideas that are contrary to our values.
In alignment with the United Nations Strategy and Plan of Action on Hate Speech, we define hate speech as “any kind of communication, including through speech, writing, imagery, or behaviour, that attacks or uses pejorative, dehumanising, violent, or discriminatory language with reference to a person or a group on the basis of who they are, in other words, based on their religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, colour, descent, gender or other identity factor.”
We will not tolerate hate speech by our employees or partners in any context, including in personal social media channels or other non-professional venues. The actions of our employees reflect on our company and community as a whole. When one of our employees or partners engages in hate speech, it also runs contrary to our values as human beings, practitioners, and as an organisation.
