Solution Focused (SF) methods, as originally devised by Steve de Shazer, Insoo Kim Berg and their colleagues, have enjoyed a reputation for being both effective in producing results and also generative in developing growth and awareness in people. These approaches left the therapy room a decade or two ago and are now used in many fields including coaching and organisational development. Since the deaths of de Shazer and Berg 10 years ago, these approaches have continued to develop, resulting in methods which are even more focused and even more flexible in application. In this evening meetup, SF pioneer, author, researcher and consultant Dr Mark McKergow will be introducing these new developments and how they can use used in the fields of coaching, supervision, team development and OD. This is a rare chance to sit down with Mark in an informal atmosphere and explore together. Come along and see how SF ideas could help you unravel difficult situations.
