Could it be that simple?
When implementing Host Leadership feels natural
Host Géry Derbier: Considering the vast amount of literature available, it seems leadership and management in organisations is a complicated matter. But is it? Since Mark McKergow told me about Host Leadership for the first time some six years ago, I have run several workshops in conferences and incorporated the material in the Agile Management trainings I give with Laurent Sarrazin. Each time, the response of the participants in these events has been very positive. But the most satisfying results I have seen came from rather simple conversations.
I will share some stories and then we can discuss together about all our ideas about how to best convey and spread the Host Leadership metaphor.
Prerequisite: Participants should know the basics of Host Leadership.
The event will run from 19:00 to approx. 20:30 CEST
[6pm-7:30pm UK, 1pm-2:30pm EDT, 10am-11:30am PDT] and it’s FREE!
To register, please use the online form below – you will receive all information you need to access the event once your registration is confirmed.
Géry Derbier mainly helps companies to get a better organisational agility to sustain their development. His lightweight coaching style blends Agile principles with a Solution Focus approach and some other beautiful ideas such as the leader as a host.
He started his career in the late 80s as a software engineer, then occupied various positions of manager and technical director. He is a pioneer of the Agile movement in France. Passionate about the Solution Focus approach, he teaches it frequently and has written one of the very few books on the subject in French.
