Systemic Facilitation of Agile Teams – Advancing your Facilitation Skills

You facilitate agile teams regularly and know the basics of facilitation. Yet, you have the impression there is more to it, that you’re missing the higher level “structures” that drive the system of people you’re working with. Then you’re probably missing the social scenographies that drive human system dynamics, particularly in agile teams.

This course is your solution: Systemic Facilitation of Agile Teams provides you with a collection of useful systemic and communication tools that complement and go beyond the usual facilitation tips. In this highly interactive course, you’ll learn how to use in practice the following:

• Facilitation structures that help you deal with different team scenarios
• Communication tools to use and pitfalls to avoid
• The System Principles according to SySt® and how to use them in analysing common agile team and organisational situations

And, finally,  you will learn to develop your systemic intuition when working with teams.

Target Group / Requirements

Please note: this is a highly specialised course! To participate effectively, you need 2+ years of practical experience as a Scrum Master/Agile Coach in a company (not as an external consultant!)

Course Organisation

The training is based on the most modern techniques for adult education and is a balanced mix of frontal lesson and practical activities directed to the integration of the learned content in the daily operations of the participants. We will use plenty of case studies, where possible coming from the participants.

The course is usually split into two parts, followed by 3-hour debriefing meeting approx. 2 months after the course to integrate better the learning with the results of the application experience of the participants acquired in the course.
